Billing never depends on AI. If AI is down or you are offline, the till keeps billing. The AI features are in the web admin and need the internet.
To answer, the AI reads your store’s product names, prices and sales totals and sends them to the AI provider (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT or Google Gemini). It only reads; it never changes anything in your shop. How we handle your data

What counts as a till?
A till is one billing counter running the KadaAI till app, paired to your store with its own device key. Two tills on one PC count as two. Your first till includes the web admin; each extra till is ₹299 a month.
Can I add or remove tills later?
Yes. Tell us and we’ll change your store’s till count, and your price follows. There’s no limit on tills per store, and you can revoke a lost or retired till from the web admin in one click. Changing your AI tier works the same way: just ask.
What happens if I use up my AI requests?
The AI features in the web admin pause with a “Monthly AI limit reached” message until the next month starts. Billing, reports and the add-on suggestions at the till carry on as normal.
One question to the assistant, one insights summary or one restock refresh counts as one request, and failed requests don’t count. The dashboard shows how many you have used and warns you at 80%. If you often need more, talk to us.
Is GST extra?
Yes. Every price on this page excludes GST, which is added to your invoice at the applicable rate.
What does the daily backup include?
A backup every night at midnight IST. We keep 7 daily, 4 weekly and 6 monthly copies. More about backups
How does yearly billing work?
Pay for 10 months and get 12. The calculator shows your yearly total and how much you save.
What happens after the free trial?
We’ll check in before your 30 days are up. There is no card on file, so nothing is charged automatically. If you want to carry on, choose your tills and AI tier and we’ll switch your store over. If not, just tell us.
Can I use KadaAI without AI?
Yes. The Basic tier has no AI and costs nothing extra: you get the till, the web admin, GST invoices and reports. You can add an AI tier whenever you’re ready.
Do I need the internet?
Only to sync and for the AI. Every sale is saved on the till first, so billing works offline. When the till is online, it syncs in the background every 15 seconds. The web admin and the AI features need a connection.
Is hardware included?
No, hardware is not included in the price. You need a Windows 10 or 11 PC. A keyboard-style USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner and an ESC/POS thermal printer (58 mm or 80 mm) are optional. See what you need
